London - 21 May 2013

Bath is a historical city with an excellent Georgian archetecture, located 156km west of London. It takes approximately one and half hour by rail (First Great Western) from London Paddington Station to Bath Spa Station. I took the train at 8.00am from London Paddington and return on the same at 6.13pm. In fact, it would be good to stay overnight just to absorb in the atmosphere. In order to cover as much sightseeing as possible, I have taken the hop on hop off bus.

No. 1 Royal Crescent was built in the 18th century and was considered as the highest point of the Palladian architecture in Bath. However, it was closed for major restoration during my visit. What a shame that I didn't get to see the museum.

Great Pulteney Street is the widest and grandest street in Bath and its spans over 300m long and 30m wide.
