Turkey - 26 May 2013 @ Selcuk

We had a morning walk around Bursa with our guide before leaving for Selcuk. The bus ride took approximately 6.5 hours and the ride was enjoyable as the seat was really comfortable. By the time we reached Selcuk, it was in the late afternoon. After checking in to the Dreams Pension, a cosy family-run inn, we have an orientation walk around the town center, including checking out a place for Hamam bath before heading for dinner.

It's amazing that the Temple of Artemis was once one of the seven wonders of the Ancient world, now sitting neglected with one solitary column remained.

We had our dinner at Tat Restaurant Cafe. I ordered grilled chicken and salad which was not that great. I would thought that this restaurant is  defintely overrated. Nevertheless, it's a nice place to soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful town.
